Safety

A few habits that make every meetup safer.

Before you meet

  • Meet out first. Every plan starts at a public place. Go to someone's place only after you have met.
  • Share your plan and set a check-in. The plan card can email where and when to a friend. If you do not check in within 15 minutes of the time you set, your trusted contact hears about it.
  • Get there and home on your own. Keep your own ride, your phone charged and your drink in sight.

Reporting

  • Open the chat or card, tap the three dots, then Report.
  • Pick a reason and add what happened. Threats and anyone who may be under 18 are reviewed first.
  • The person never learns who reported them. A moderator may remove them.

Without the app, email support@onsn.app with the name on the card and what happened.

Blocking

  • Block from the chat or card. The match closes for both of you right away.
  • A blocked person cannot see you, message you or invite you. They are not told.
  • Unblock any time from You, then Blocked.
